We are joined by author Wil Haygood, Guggenheim and National Endowment for the Humanities fellow, who wrote the 2008 Washington Post article that inspired the film Lee Daniels’ The Butler: “A Butler Well Served by This Election.” Haygood’s book about Eugene Allen, The Butler: A Witness to History, was recently released.
