Violence and Protests

In light of recent cases of violent protests, we discussed the topic of Violence and Militant Protest. Magazine, In These Times, The Progressive, Telesur, and The Nation, graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York and author of Bacon as a Weapon of Mass Destruction: A Junk-Food Loving Chef’s Inquiry into Taste; and Dr. Shon Meckfessel, English professor at Highline College and author of the recently published book Nonviolence Ain’t What It Used To Be: Unarmed Insurrection and the Rhetoric of Resistance.
