Ronit Avni is an activist, filmmaker, and founder of Just Vision, an organization dedicated to educating people about non-violent solutions to the conflict in the Middle East. Her most recent film is Budrus, which is about the joint efforts of Palestinians and Israelis to save the lands of a Palestinian village from being destroyed by Israel’s Separation Barrier. She joined us to discuss the power of the media, the frequent but unreported non-violent cooperation between Israelis and Palestinians, and her films.
