We discuss the ACLU study released this week that reveals racial disparities in marijuana possession arrests, and lists Maryland as fourth in the nation for such arrests. We will examine implications of the study as well as America’s drug policy, with:
- Sonia Kumar, staff attorney at the ACLU of Maryland;
- Retired Major Neill Franklin, Executive Director of LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) and a 33-year police veteran of the Maryland State Police;
- and Councilman Carl Stokes of the Baltimore City Council representing the 12th District.
