She is an Assistant Professor of Communication and Affiliate Assistant Professor of African and African American Studies at Loyola University Maryland, and author of Notes From a Colored Girl: The Civil War Pocket Diaries of Emile Frances Davis and My Black Sons: Raising Boys in a Post-Racial America.
We hear about a special project coming in April to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, recognizing the one-year anniversary of the Baltimore Uprising: All Baltimore Voices: Stories About and Beyond the Unrest. With: Roni L. Jolley, Ed.D., Director of Education at the Lewis Museum; and poet Kondwani Fidel.
