In lead up to the City Neighbors Foundation’s 6th Annual Progressive Education Summit, we host an Arts Education Roundtable. With: Dr. Adarsh Alphons, Founder of Project Art and keynote speaker at the Summit; Dr. Eric Booth, Founding Editor of the Teaching Artist Journal, author of a number of books including The Everyday Work of Art, and keynote speaker at the Summit; Dr. Shyla Rao, co-Director and instructor in the Masters of Arts in Teaching Program at Maryland Institute College of Art; Pat Cruz, Education Director of Young Audiences, former Baltimore teacher, and recipient of the 2012 Arts Education in Maryland Schools Alliance (AEMS) Arts Advocate of the Year Award; and Bobbi MacDonald, Executive Director of The City Neighbors Foundation, which operates three charter schools in Baltimore City.
