Join us for a conversation with Dr. Johnetta Cole. She was the first African American woman to serve as president of Spelman College from 1987-1997, and she was also president of Bennett College from 2002-2007. She is currently the Director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art, and she joined us to talk about art, education, and her life. She will be speaking this Thursday, January 13th, at 7 PM at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture, located at 830 E. Pratt Street.
