October 2, 2014 – Segment 2Listen in as I talk with Charles E. Cobb, Jr., about his book: This Nonviolent Stuff’ll Get You Killed: How Guns Made the Civil Rights Movement Possible. Cobb is a Visiting Professor of Africana Studies at Brown University. From 1962-1967 he served as a field secretary for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in Mississippi.
