We continued our discussion about Safe Streets, a program designed to reduce violence in Baltimore City whose funding was recently suspended after allegations that some workers in the program were still affiliated with gangs in Baltimore. We are joined by Corey Winfield, Outreach Supervisor for Safe Streets East. Winfield tells us about the death of his brother, how he traded in violence and found an alternative, and what the Safe Streets program does for youth in Baltimore.
