Syed is serving a life sentence for the 1999 murder of his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee, and the purpose of the hearing is to determine whether Syed deserves a new trial. We talk with: Doug Colbert, Professor of Law at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law; and Steven Klepper, a lead attorney in Kramon & Graham’s appellate practice.
